Possibilities of Work-Life Balance of Women and Men in Leadership

The master’s thesis analysis possibilities for work-life balance of women and men in leadership in academic sphere. It specifies gender roles, labor market segregation, stereotypes in population and outlines the benefits of implementation of equal opportunities for employers. The empirical part focuses in accord with the aim of the thesis on the issue of harmonization of work and family, and analyzes in detail the differences between men and women, their mutual cooperation and the reasons for the low representation of women in management positions.
Application of Gender Management in Selected Company

This diploma thesis is focused on the application of gender management in Bosch Diesel company, situated in Jihlava. In the theoretical part the essential terms and general findings about gender management and work-life balance are explained. The practical part of the thesis deals with the chosen company, analysis of its internal environment and incentives to integrate gender management and deal with the work-life balance. Alongside with the survey in Bosch Diesel, questionnaire research in Honeywell (Brno) was accomplished, which provided an interesting comparison with the questionnaire investigation carried out in Bosch Diesel. The aim of the thesis is to prepare suitable suggestions based on the previous analysis. These suggestions are of informational character and then they could bring positive changes in some companies (and the whole society as well).

This thesis deals with diversity management in the scientific research centre CEITEC. Diversity management deals with diversity in the workplace, especially gender, age, and intercultural. The aim of the thesis is to propose suitable strate-gies, suggestions and recommendations for improvement and development of diversity management, so that each employee has the opportunity to fully exploit their potential. The first part deals with the definition of important concepts relat-ed to diversity management and the reasons for its implementation. The next part is devoted to the processing of qualitative and quantitative research, on the basis of which are set recommendations, proposals and budget of the improvements and their benefits.

This diploma thesis deals with diversity management in international company and in companies in financial field, and also deals with productivity and effectiveness of employees and work teams. The main goal of the thesis is to make suggestions and recommendations to change or improve access to diversity management in compa-nies. Recommendations are about age, gender and intercultural management and also about work-life balance. Important goal is also discover the influence of age and gender to productivity of employees and effectiveness of work teams. Research is divided into two parts. In the first section is quantitative questionnaire - there are applied exact methods (statistical analysis). The second part is qualitative research – there are applied methods of semistructured interviews (team leaders, experts of productivity, HR managers and also leaders). The last part of the thesis contains suggestions and recommendations for better using diversity management and for maximization of team productivity.

The main aim of the thesis is creation of recommendations for improvement in the field of management of diverse working teams. The recommendations are linked to age, gender and diversity management. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part defines the terms of age, gender and intercultural management, explains the methods of their application and the reason they are needed to be implicated into company’s management. Moreover, it describes demographic development and the situation in Czech and Slovak republic. Practical part involves qualitative research and analysis of environment. The last part describes the suggestions for improvement, their economical evaluation and benefits resulting from their application.

It consists of a review of literature that focuses mainly on human resources management, flexible forms of work and social diversity in the organization. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the current condition of flexible forms of work in the labor market within the Czech Republic in the area of the engineering industry. In the framework of qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with HR representatives or other executives are car-ried out. Quantitative research is also carried out within the framework of the questionnaire survey. The results of both investigations are then processed appropriately. All survey information obtained is used as input to draft proposals and recommendations

The master thesis deals with the matter of management diversity in chosen engineering companies. The goal of this paper is to formulate proposals and suggestions in the field of diversity management with emphasis on age and gender management in engineering companies in the South Moravian region. The first part of the thesis explains basic terms, arguments and process of diversity management implementation. The thesis consists of qualitative and quantitative research. Within the qualitative research eight semi-structured interviews with employees of middle and top management were taken. Quantitative research is based on questionnarie survey and statistical analysis of data that were gained in program Statistica 12. In the conclusion the author considers the results and based on them suggests recommendations including their benefits and economic appreciation.

Diploma thesis deals with application of age and gender management principles in selected companies of the Olomouc region. The aim of this diploma thesis is proposal to improve employment in clothing companies. Thesis is divided into two parts. First part includes literature research. Second part is formed by quantitative and qualitative research. In quantitative questionnaire section were applied statistical methods. In qualitative research were applied interviews with owners, executives and HR officers. Based on these analysis, were proposed recommendations for improvement of employment in clothing industry.

Struharova, X. Management of diverse teams in the ICT sector. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The diploma thesis deals with diversity management of companies operating in the ICT sector in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to develop recommendations for better application of diversity management in the ICT sector. Partial goals also examine what factors in the work environment affect the satisfaction of employees working in a diversified environment, and think about the opportunities for young women to apply in IT departments as well. Qualitative research that took place in the form of semi-structured in-depth interviews with HR staff, managers, and executives. Subsequently, a quantitative survey was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey, the results of which were interpreted by the statistical analysis of the data. At the end of the thesis are elaborated proposals and recommendations resulting from the results of the research part of the thesis.
Diversity management v segmentu státní správy ČR

This diploma thesis deals with problems of the diversity management in selected offices of the state management of the Czech Republic. The literature search de-scribes some fundamental concepts concerning the diversity management, benefits, obstacles and the procedure of the practical implementation of the diversity management. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to find out, in which way the state administration accepts the diversity management and what is the benefit of the practical implementation of the diversity management, especially in the area of the employees‘ recruitment and adaptation. In the frame of this diploma thesis in-deep discussions were conducted with personnel officers. Results of these discussions were then processed by means of the MAXQDA program. At the end of the thesis some recommendations are proposed to utilize the diversity management in a segment of the state administration for the employees‘ recruitment and adaptation.
